Open Call

WHAM! The Woodside Heights Art Museum seeks an artists’ project which instills pride in Woodside by highlighting local culture and history in this new, free, community-based museum.

WHAM! seeks partners to help celebrate the hyper local and contextualize Woodside art and history within the greater New York City and international narrative.

WHAM! seeks artists’ projects on the theme of Woodside, Queens for presentation in its 2 window galleries (46.5" tall x 26" wide x 11" deep, each). Any medium. Please be aware the window boxes are made of foam core which can accommodate lightweight installations only; and that the boxes get direct sun and are visible from the sidewalk 24-7-365.
